Hello Tiger Band Family,

The Wind Ensemble had a wonderful day of camaraderie and music making on Saturday at the Round Top Festival Institute in Round Top, TX. The concert hall in Round Top is a world class facility both in acoustic and aesthetic beauty. A professional recording of the performance of our UIL program may be used in our TMEA Honor Band process submission. We will record the same program at the Joint Concert with Bowie HS on Monday, May 13th at 6:30pm at the Bowie HS Auditorium, and the DSHS All-State Solo concert will also be professionally recorded. The very best recording of each piece will be part of the submission packet. The recordings submitted by each 6A band entered will be judged on June 20th, with 2 bands from TMEA Area E advancing to the State level.

Student Leadership Team auditions and interviews have been completed, results will be announced by the end of this week. Thank you to the more than 72 students that participated in the process...your passion and dedication to the Tiger Band is noticed and appreciated, regardless of the results!

How Can You Fundraise Now? - H.E.B. Gift Cards!

It’s always a great time to place an order for H-E-B gift cards. What an easy way to support the band while you shop at H-E-B for your groceries, gas, etc.

Complete the order form in the newsletter link here and drop a check in the mail or the lockbox in the band hall. (If you don't know where the lock box is, have your kid ask!) That’s it! Of course, we love when you set up a recurring check payment at your financial institution as that makes it even easier.
